Here at Blackwood we run two teams, both play on Wednesday evenings where we field 32 bowlers. On a saturday we field 28 bowlers - 12 in the Gwent League and 16 in the Monmouthshire 1st division.
We are constantly looking to recruit bowlers of all abilities and standards. You will be guaranteed at least one match per week and possibly two most weeks.

The season starts mid April and continues until Mid September. .
For fun there are friendly matches and day trips. The annual tour is also a big success with, usually, three matches organised. These occasions are mixed rinks when we are joined by our very successful ladies section.
